I feel blessed because every day I get to go to “work” and live out my childhood dream: I help people achieve the smile of their dreams and become their friend in the process!
As an orthodontist, I have the unique opportunity to do more than change a smile and improve a person’s health, I also get to enhance my patient's self-esteem. My love for what I do is evident in how I interact with and care for each person, with compassion, respect, and professionalism.
Anyone who knows me or sees me with my patients will attest to how excited I get about each person’s transformation. I love how I can start with someone who has an orthodontic issue and, with every appointment, build their self-esteem and confidence by changing their smile. My patients and I go on a journey: I love how each person finishes with their best smile and the knowledge and passion to keep it healthy for life!
Education and Continuing Education
- Undergraduate degree – University of Florida
- Doctorate of Dental Medicine – University of Florida College of Dentistry
- Orthodontic certificate and Masters of Science – Nova Southeastern University
I’m passionate about learning and strive to remain at the leading edge of developments in orthodontics. Through various courses, attendance at meetings and lectures, and reading the most up-to-date journals, I stay current with new processes and techniques.
Also, I’m part of the Seattle Study Club. This is a prestigious group of general dentists and oral health specialists who come together to share innovative ideas, research, and clinical advancements. Collaborative learning means the best experience and outcomes for our patients.
I’m also an adjunct professor at Nova Southeastern University’s College of Dental Medicine, in the orthodontic residency program. This allows me to work with the latest innovations and mentor residents on their masters' research theses.

Beyond the Practice
Though I grew up in a small town in Georgia called Waycross, I’ve been a South Floridian since I was 12. After graduating from school, my husband and I decided to make South Florida our permanent home. We are blessed to have both of our families in the area.
My husband and I have been married for more than five years and have been together since we met at the University of Florida. We share our home with a four-legged fur baby: our Maltipoo, Emma.
When we’re not working, my husband and I love to support the local sports teams, travel, and try new restaurants! We are both major foodies!
